In an atmosphere filled with pride and honor, Eshraqa Academy and Alemni Foundation organized the graduation ceremony for the Gaza 2024 cohort, attended by His Eminence, the Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Mohammad Imam, along with influential business leaders, educational representatives, and the students’ families.
The ceremony began with the Lebanese national anthem and a beautiful recitation from the Quran.
Sheikh Mohammad Matarji, Executive Director of the Ahdaf Charity Foundation, delivered an opening speech, commending the collective efforts made by all parties to support students over three years of academic achievement and excellence. Dr. Ibrahim Saydawi and His Eminence Sheikh Mohammad Imam also addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of education and dedication to community service. They praised the significant role that organizations like Alemni and Esharaqa play in nurturing a righteous and reformative generation.
The ceremony featured a heartfelt speech from the students, who expressed their deep gratitude to the team, receiving bouquets of flowers as tokens of appreciation for the support provided throughout their academic journey.
A special highlight of the event was a video showcasing the history, culture, and heritage of Tripoli, prepared by the students themselves, which added a unique and realistic touch to the celebration, titled “My Homeland- Mawteni.” This was followed by a lighthearted video capturing moments from the students’ lives during their time at the institutions, bringing joy and laughter to the audience. In an emotional moment, the students united to perform the anthem “We Will Stay Here,” as a tribute to all who instilled in them love, knowledge, and hope.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and awards to the students, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.
